Memories...

Here is a fun little game... leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time or a long time, anything that you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It is pretty funny to read the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you are playing and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. On your mark... get set... blog those memories!

I remember the "Abracadabra" Song too! That trailer, I remember your bunk beds. So scary!!! The cat in the dryer. Oh, my goodness, I could go on and on. BUT, my favorite memory is Family Home Evening in Rickardsville, you were 12 years old, I think and you were bearing your testimony and crying and were so embarrassed. I remember being so proud of you and for you being the strength, courage and determination that made it possible for MY sister to change her life, and thus help instigate change in MY life and wow, isn't it amazing how everyone's lives are so perfectly aligned that when we are obedient to His cause that our testimonies are remembered for so many years and can even have years later still have an effect. You will always be my Warrior Spirit that isn't afraid to stand for truth and righteousness. Usually, loudly. I love you!

Stake Dances will forever be engraved in my memories. Who could forget "Istanbul", "Bird House in Your Soul" and swingin' through the cultural hall with Nanette. And SWOONING over a certain young gentleman who so many had a crush on. Well, at least the 2 of us anyway. Do you think he knew or knows? ha! So much fun!! I love remembering how much fun we had together as "kids". Oh and hiding from Aly on the hay bales at the Hayes' will always be classic. Or you peeing beside the tent at night when camping with Chris & Marianne. Oh the treasured good times. Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane!

Think the best memories took place when we lived together. Weather it be in Utah, at home, or in Dubuque. We always had so much fun together. And then of course there was our double wedding. How many people can say I had a double wedding with my sister, my very best friend in the world. There is also the memory of you being there, in the room for the birth of my son. Me yelling at you to move the mirror so I could see, you I think paralyzed by the thing that was coming out of my body. Good times.. Stryker.

I remember lots of memories, but the ones that come to mind, is Grandpa yelling at you and Dianne folled by thunder and the infamous puking! You were both struck silent! But actually I remember going thru a mall in Texas and picking out the doll that said Amanda on it's apron. I a also remember driving down Ridgeway Ave. And you turned to me and said" I think God wants you to take care of other people's kids" How prophetic! I* just remember you full of smiles energetic

I remember when we lived in Sparks, and I went to visit your apartment. You had pulled an all nighter the night before and then had fallen asleep on the floor with your down comforter. You were dreaming and woke up confused half yelling, "Why am I trapped in an igloo?!" It was the funniest thing!

I thought for a while on this... I loved it when I got to hear you and Britt sing to your husbands on your wedding day. I didn't really know you yet, but I thought you both had beautiful voices and I loved how each of you were looking so lovingly into your new spouses eyes. Of course, it was even better when I watched you get sealed to David, then Malia. It was the same look, just much more powerful.:) You were beautiful on each of those days.

Oh, this is fun. As a room roommate, I do have a story that no one else was there to witness. In our oh so wonderful Sparks apartment you and I had the joy of sharing the bunk bed room-and you lost and got the top bunk. One morning, just after I had awakened, but had not yet crawled out of bed I saw a blur, heard a thump and you sat up looking dazed and confused. You had rolled out of bed in you sleep. It was one of those should I laugh or cry for you-it must have hurt! And for the people who were not there-that bed started at least 6 feet off the ground.

Okay..I was thinking long and hard on this one.

The first thought that came to mind was a selfish one. I remember I was living at a different apartment complex and I came to visit. I walked in the door and you said "WOW, you look so skinny." It made me feel good and obviously I remembered it! =0

The second memory came after a summer away. I had gone home to Ca for the summer and I can't remember if you had gone home for the summer or went home to visit, but I am pretty sure you went home for the summer too. We both came back to provo and the first we were both back we sat in the clubhouse at SPARKS and talked for ever. I don't know if you remember that, but I do and I imagine that is what it will be like the next time we see each other again!!

Randomly running into you at The Book Table here in Logan when I didn't even know you lived in Logan. We hadn't seen each other for almost 5 years and I was so excited and surprised to see you. That was a good day.
