David found out yesterday where we are going to be stationed. We weren't expecting to find out until the end of the month. I was so excited and nervous! Once David finishes his training at Ft. Sill and graduates on Feb. 6th, we are assigned to Fort Carson, Colorado. It is near Colorado Springs. I've only done a little research so far, but am super excited. A huge highlight is that is a great place for those who suffer from allergies and asthma! Both have been kicking my butt while living here in Iowa. It seems like a great place to be stationed, right between both of our families. On the downside, there is a rumor that he may be deployed immediately- at the end of February! You know, three weeks before my baby comes! I really hope that it is just a rumor. As David points out, there is no use worrying about it until we know for sure. Guess we will just see. Nonetheless, isn't Colorado beautiful?

So happy to see you and David back together. Sorry to hear about your rumor. I had to learn to ignore all the rumors while we were doing the Army thing. I found that some were true and some weren't and none were worth worrying about until I knew the facts. I know that is easier said than done...I didn't manage to completely accomplish it either. Good luck with everything and Colorado looks BEAUTIFUL!
I would love to live in Colorado someday it is beautiful up there. I hope the rumors aren't true. So is this more schooling? Oh yeah I forgot to mention how cool it was that people treat David so well when he is in his army attire, I should be more like that. He is doing a great service for us all.
It is beautiful! Maybe we'll get a chance to visit each other?! I hope it's a rumor! Yikes! Miss you.. Happy Bday again. Hope it was fun.
I'm glad you have a wonderful duty station. I am jealous. I hear Ft. Carson is beautiful. Keep us posted.
We will keep you all in our prayers! Cross your fingers, maybe your toes too. May the Lord bless your endeavor.
